Your product stack,inside your AI assistant.
Productstack ships a remote MCP server. Connect Claude Code, Claude or Cursor with one browser sign-in, then read and update your roadmap, ideas, OKRs, changelog, knowledge base and docs in plain language.
One URL.
One sign-in.
It is a remote server, so there is nothing to install or run. Any MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth sign-in can connect.
Add the server
Point your MCP client at the Productstack URL. One command in Claude Code, one line of config elsewhere.
Sign in
Your browser opens, you sign in to Productstack and approve the connection. No API key to copy or store.
Ask
The assistant can now see your workspace and act on it. Start with a question, or hand it a task.
claude mcp add --transport http productstack \
https://app.productstack.io/api/mcp{
"mcpServers": {
"productstack": { "url": "https://app.productstack.io/api/mcp" }
}
}In Claude, add it as a custom connector under Settings and paste the same URL.
Say it.
It's done in Productstack.
Each of these is a real request the server can carry out today. The assistant chains the tools; you review the result.
Close out a ship day
“We shipped bulk edit. Move the card to Shipped and draft the changelog entry.”
Finds the card, moves it to your done column at 100%, and saves a draft release for you to review.
Turn a release into a help doc
“Turn the v2.4 release into a how-to article and leave it as a draft.”
Reads the release notes and writes a knowledge-base article in the category you name.
Capture ideas where they come up
“Log these five requests from my call notes as private ideas.”
Creates each idea with a title and description, kept off the public board until you decide.
Spec it without leaving the editor
“Read the bulk-edit idea and write a PRD for it.”
Pulls the idea's full text and saves a document in Productstack, as a draft or in review.
Keep OKRs honest
“Set KR2's current value to 8 minutes and mark the objective at risk.”
Updates the key-result metric and the objective's confidence, so progress reflects reality.
Ask about the plan
“What's in the Now column, and how far along is each card?”
Lists your roadmap cards with their column and progress, and answers from live data.
19 tools.
Every layer of the loop.
Six kinds of item are covered end to end: ideas, roadmap cards, changelog releases, knowledge-base articles, documents and objectives. Your assistant can list them, read them in full, create them and update them.

Not exposed over MCP today: the feedback inbox, votes, comments and workspace settings. Lists return the most recent 100 items of each type.
You stay
in control.
An assistant that can change your roadmap should be easy to trust and easy to check. The server is designed so the risky steps stay with you.
Sign-in, not secrets
The connection is authorised with OAuth in your browser. There is no long-lived API key sitting in a config file.
Scoped to your workspaces
The assistant can only reach workspaces you are a member of, and works in one at a time. Switching is explicit.
Drafts by default
New changelog entries and help articles are saved as drafts. Nothing is published unless you ask for it.
Roadmap cards are archived
Deleting a card archives it, and you can restore it in the app. Deleting other items is permanent, so the tool says so.
Use the one that fits
where you already work.
